Re: TURBO B20VTEC ??????
I am just going to tell you what everyone else is going to say. It is all in the tune. I seen a b20 today on honda tech that is boosting 26psi on a stock shortblock.

Ding ding ding.
Also. Whats the b20vtec built with? Who built it? Specs? Who installed the block guard? Who checked it out(machinist), etc etc.
I recently saw a ITR shortblock ruined because of a blockguard installed improperly.

Re: TURBO B20VTEC ??????
srsly you bumped a tech talk thread???
Listen to Jarrod. The improper install of a block gaurd is worse than a stock blosck. Ttraditionally Ive been told that 12psi on a bone stock B20 is safe. (I also have a boosted B20 non VTEC). If you have internals, Its really all in the tune and how big your balls are

Re: TURBO B20VTEC ??????
You can definately go a lot higher than 12psi if you want. There are too many variables to say one certain boost level is the limit. Its more of a limit on how much torque your making. 12psi on one turbo setup is gonna be different than 12psi on another. Not to mention with a good tune if you can keep the motor from knocking you can run quite a bit more than you think on stock b20 sleeves. I've tuned multiple b20 and b20 vtecs at 15+ psi on stock sleeves and havent had any issues yet with the sleeves.
