I was pulled over tonight and the cop asked me for proof of insurance, I didnt have my wallet on me at the time, so I didnt have my insurance card. He wrote me a ticket for no proof of insurance, my question is if I go to the court and show them I indeed did have insurance at the time of the ticket will it be dismised? If so will my insurance card be enough proof or do go to my insurance agent and get something fom them saying I have insurance?
