Default boost problems..

i have a 2000 jetta 1.8t witha k06 turbo and everytime it goes past 5 pounds it starts to sputter and won't go..it pisses me off..

..any ideas?...

What else are you running? Stock ECU? Boost controller? It could be a boost cut off or fuel cut off built into the stock ECU.

check your spark plugs.....make sure its the right gap, and that they are still in good shape.

k04 computer chip, manual boost controller,

you think bigger injectors would help?

how many LBS are you pushing. Very good chance you need bigger injectors.

21 is what it was set at when it got tuned. i know i need to get an electronic boost controller and possibly retuned?

no it's not acting like it's leaking. it'll pull hard as hell until the engine warms up.

it definatly sounds like a boost leak my golf had the same problem as you when my stock diverter valve was leakin
