Anyone work at a shop and can give me an estimate?
I'm looking into buying a new head for my Mazda 4 cyl. The motors kidna old, so I figure why not just go the whole nine yards.
I'm trying to get an estimate on how much it would cost to install the new head, change the water pump, and timeing belt. Aaaaaand possibly adjustable cam gears. Any info would be a big help, thanks.

Heads old, knocking a bit, and the price for the new one is reasonable, 2k, built by FM. If it was just the HG I could do it myself, but I want the belt and water pump replaced, and I just don't have the tools for that. Going to boost the car, hopefully, but not with that old head on it. So why wouldn't you put a new head on a non-milled block?
A knocking and worn/old motor, I'd be more worried about the bottom end than the head ESPECIALLY if you're going to be adding boost into the mix. Are you burning oil or anything? How many miles? I can replace it for you if it doesn't have to be done by a shop. How much are you willing to spend?
