Re: Anyone have a carb sync tool?
i have one in my closet, needs mercury, which apparently is harder to find than rocking horse turds. if you can find some, you're more than welcome to use it.

Damn, thanks anyways then. Looking around and the newer ones are filled with "New mercury-free design uses non toxic manometer fluid" Wonder if that stuff is easier to find? Still looking for mercury, but your right about hard to find.

Re: Anyone have a carb sync tool?
stupid EPA makes mercury difficult to get. i tried using in with different heavy oils, etc, and it didn't work so well. anything you use has to be heavy, or it just gets sucked up the tubes into the intake. if you find a suitable replacement, by all means, let me know. those sync sticks weren't cheap, i'd like to be able to use em again if i can. the dial guage ones that i can get aren't as accurate.

Make one. I made one out of stuff from Lowe's for less than 20 bucks. I just use water as a fluid. If you make the tubes long enough it won't suck the water up. Works great. Mine is for a 2 cylinder though. Do a search on line for home made carb sync tool.

I used those plans online to make on with a yard stick and clear tubing using transmission fluid as the fluid. Worked great synching my GS500 - not sure how well it would work using two of 'em to synch a four though.

Skr00z, i emailed the makers of the above mentioned fluid to see if it can be used in-place of Mercury and where to get it. Ill let you know what they say. And hell yes, the RD is a screamer. Know where I can get some chain adjusters at? My friend lost em and thats all thats stopping it. Its a trackbike now.
Does anyone know where to get a good, small 90* ratchet-like screwdriver. Something to adjust the pilots with.
I saw the homemade ones last night and it would work but would be $40 for the stuff for a 4 banger, may as well pick up the right tool. Thanks though.
