Vehicle tracking and recovery
I have a DEI brand GPS tracking device. Just wanted to know if anyone was interested in one. Just so you get an idea, these retail for over $750. On ebay, no less than $500. I want to get 350 for mine. It is new in the box, never been installed. It's couple years old, but has been well taken care of and is ready to be installed. Just wanted to see if anyone was interested in something like this with all the theives around. I was gonna put it in my girl's car, but she ended up not wanting to do it cuz she plans on buying a new car.
Edit: The brand is Automate (by DEI). The model number is 200A. Like I said, this is a couple years old, and it's the older model. There isn't much difference between this one and the newer one as far as I know. The only differences that I have seen personally is antenna and the shape of the "brain". The antenna that comes with mine is an "all-in-one" antenna that is about the size of a wallet (just a general two fold leather one). The other difference is the brain box. The shape is a little different than the newer one, but other than that, this thing is ready to go! I'm putting up a link to DEI's website. This site that I am linking to will explain all the features a little more in depth. This unit will have all of the same features that are posted on this link. If you want to know the subscription fees, there is a link on this page that will explain all of the costs. They are very competitive prices considering the features you get (compared with Onstar). And, the main thing with this one is: You control everything. Not the company, not Onstar. You actually get on the computer and send a signal to the car from the website. You can also track in real-time. Anymore questions/concerns, lmk.

Note: This unit is not factory packaged with a backup battery ($10 on ebay) which I would suggest adding on, but that's just my preference.
