It should just slip back onto the bracket that holds the cable housing. However, if it slipped off in the first place, it leads me to believe something broke to allow it to come apart.

Checking out the turbo fox for sale on Craig's List? It seems a little suspicious that he gave up after all that work, because of a simple clutch cable.

Edit - Nevermind, I just saw your other thread you started about your Mustang.

i searched craigslist for that ad your talking about...it is a little shady....but no...i am fairly knowledgable on motors...but not at all on trannys....wehn i blew the motor it was right after a vicious snap into 2nd gear....i mean i yanked that bitch as hard as i could....then the clutch felt like jello....thought i blew the tranny, but my pop said it was the clutch cable, he's to old to get down there and fix it...plus hes so old and senile he prob. doesnt know what hes talking about, like i said...i dont know shit about trannys....but i can build you a sick 5.0
