My friends old f150's ignition is trying to start the engine without his key being in the motor. if he turns the truck on the ignition wont disengage, it keeps trying to get the enine to turn. any suggestions on how to do a quick fix sop he can drive to work in the morning or what may be causing the problem? I figure wires are contacting inside the ignition

 

Ignition switch is probably internally shorting, or worn through. Sounds like a fun problem.
