Most people want tint for the limo dark windows. I want tint installed to keep the car cooler and protect the leather but not get hassled by state troopers. Huper Optik has a ceramic tint that blocks 99%+ of UV rays but doesn't look as dark and doesn't block cell signals like metal films.

You have a 135i too? I picked mine up almost two weekends ago from checkered flag BMW. SGM w/ red coral leather w/ spork package = pure sex. I'm in nova now and ceramic tint by Huper is around 400 from this shop i called. Since I have to travel to va beach around mid may, I also want to know if there are any tint shops that offer huper optik.

I would.. but I'd have to send the chip to Germany. My car is currently "in transport to the port of exit." I plan on having Checkered Flag BMW install Dinan software as soon as it shows up.

Huper Optik is some good stuff. i used alot when i worked for cali tint. Dave the owner lost there account cause he was slacking on the installs. i heard that express tint got the account not to long ago. there a really good tint shop, so u should have on probs with them and there install. top notch. if they fall through give my shop a call, LA tint 703 467-8295. we sell pinncale film from formula one, witch is a close match and cheaper. IMO.

I just called again. He's not that familar with 135i's but I'm told the last lexus IS350 he did was around $480. I'm not sure if those are 2 or 4 door cars. It is more expensive than other films but I like the technology of Huper film.

 

I agree. "formula one" kept coming up on my google searches as very good film.

 

So how much am I looking at with Formula 1 tint?
