Are your dash lights (idiot lights) on? If not, I'd check the ignition switch.

Also, check if the fuel pump is running. Turn the key on, and go back towards the gas tank and listen for a humming sound.

If it cranks but doesnt start, the ignition switch is fine..

Start doing the process of elimination..

Do you have fuel?
Do you have spark?

That's not true at all. When the ignition switch in my CRX went to hell, the "on" position of the switch was bad and it would never get continuity, thus preventing it from starting and just turning over and over.

Make sure you have power to the ECU. You can completely unplug the ECU from the car and it will still crank, which is why I'm saying that.
