Took my spoiler off my 99si
Someone told me it couldnt pass inspection because the spoiler served as my third brake light.
Is that true?

 

If that's your only third brake light, yes. You could add one from a non-spoilered model if you don't still have one behind the rear window glass.

 

yeah i think anything after 93 has to have a 3rd. or you could always add a 3rd break light, i think cobra4b has a "remote" 3rd brake like, one that he can tuck up under his rear bumper, if not, one of those crazy corvette owners does

99 si's have a brake light in their spoiler?

there should be one in your rear window to. Just get someone to tell you if another light other then your tails lights up when you hit the brakes.
