Re: ford guys
Check compression yet? How many miles are on motor? Had to pull a car into the garage one time that had blown motor, ended up having to push cuz there wasn't enough power to go up the hill, but drove slow as s*** on level ground.

Re: ford guys
dont have a compression tester, the truck starts and runs good just sitting and when i rev it its clean too, just absolutley no power, i was thinking about replacing the maf,
i just bought the truck and figured i would try and get it running good again before replacing the engine

Re: ford guys
could have skipped a tooth on the timing belt. So i would check the marks there a round plug that pops out of the cover so u dont have to pull the whole timing cover. Also the dis module with make them do crazy things

Air fuel ratio is off if you get no power under load and little "surges". Check the MAF, air filter (no power under accelleration), and if there is any vaccuum leak at any seals (surges). Quick spurts of ether or carb cleaner around gaskets and seals will help you find leaks. If the engine surges when you spray near there, that's the location of the leak.
