Price: $3000
Reason for selling: Here's the skinny on what happened. I was driving down Centerville Tpk heading towards Indian River Rd to hit the interstate. All is well then I notice the car started to misfire. Pulled over into CBN parking lot and just stopped. Checked for spark by lifting coils up while its idling, #1 has spark, #2 has spark, #3 nothing, #4 has spark. Got a couple S14 coils and threw it into #3 and it ran awesome for the next two days. Parked it after class one day. Next morning I go to start it and its misfiring again. This time on #2 and #3. Moved coils from 2 & 3 to 1 & 4 and they're firing. Coils are good. Checked continuity between + and - terminals on the ignition coil plugs (harness side) while the key is in the "on" position and the voltage for #1 is 8.3v, #2 is 4.2v, #3 is .4v, and #4 is 6v. I checked the voltage between the + terminal and grounded @ the battery, each connector then got 12v as they should. I'm guessing there's a problem with the ground for the coils on the back of the head. Compression test was 158, 155, 160, 155, well within specs. You can easily tell there's unburnt fuel coming from the engine because it sprays you in the face while its running. There's an exhaust leak between the dump tube an the turbine housing.
I don't feel like working on this anymore and will likely be moving in the next year so I'd rather just go ahead and sell it now, but the engine is in fantastic shape (except for the leak coming from the valve cover gasket, although i could just tighten it down a bit and it'll stop). I was running 14psi using an AVC-R and its rock steady. Eugene's driven my car and knows how well it runs, as well as a few ppl on the forums. I am keeping a few things for my next build (ka-t) but that will be after I move.
Here's the rundown on the parts included with the car:
S13 Redtop (fins on head) SR20DET (65k approx by now)
S14 T28 Ball Bearing Turbo
XSPower Divorced Wastegate Dump Tube
RS*R 3" Downpipe
XSPower FMIC
GReddy Type-S BOV
SR Powersteering setup modified to fit (not installed)
S13 ABS Driveshaft
J30 VLSD
Steelies
Car does NOT come with the Q45 brakes, will have regular brakes with fresh pads and new rotors, does NOT come with SARD TCV and Circuit Sport Exhaust.
Optional Items:
HKS Vein Pressure Converter $400
SARD Torque Control Valve $200
This car was running awesome and just needs some diagnostic work to get it running perfect, and I'd fix it but I'm pretty focused on building a KA-T. I could walk an E46 SMG M3 on the interstate at 16psi. The interior is super clean with exception of two holes in the dash where I mounted the GReddy 80mm Boost gauge, which I will reinstall and include with the car if the buyer wants it. ON TO THE PICTURES!
Car will look like this when purchased (minus dented maroon fender, see above picture)

Thanks man, but I'm just going to focus on my MR2 and my GFs KA-T for now. I'll end up in a S13 again eventually though.

interested in a salvage title 98 DC with h22 swap ( cant tell car was ever wrecked, was minor accident that was beutifully rebuilt ), would obviously let you look the car over / take it to a mechanic / body shop or whatever you wanted to. lmk.
