So I've never owned a motorcycle, dirt bike, scooter or anything before, but was kinda itching to get a bike. I didn't think it was a good idea to learn on something big, and I had been thinking of getting a dirt bike, so i went with a dual sport. It's a 1991 Suzuki DR350S. I rode it around a little on Tuesday after getting the insurance, tags, and learners permit. Found a dirt trail up behind my fathers house and got a little dirty on that...and a little stuck. I've really enjoyed it just the couple days i've had it on the road. I'm looking forward to improving my riding skills, and stepping up to a street bike sometime. (I'm thinking next summer) Anyways, here are some pictures. Does anyone know of any legal trails around the roanoke/lynchburg/lexington area?

Congrats! As far as trails go, your riding a dual sport, just ride on the street until find a spot to start a trail at and go buck wild.

 

there r some trails in lynchburg i have rode on i wanna say its called rattle snake moutain...

 

sweet, I actually think i've heard of that before. I seem to remember a friend of mine from Appomattox talk about it.

yeah dude, for sure. I found some crazy oil leaking from a gasket, so i've gotta replace that before i do any more riding around.
