adjusting cam gears
i have buddy club cams valve train and aem cam adjustable cam gears and was wondering if i could get a little more power by advanceing them and how much should i advance it

Go spend some money and get them adjusted on a dyno. You can't really predictively tune cam gears and expect to get any power out of them.

You can make educated guesses but it almost always is not correct. The best way to do it is on a dyno. What kind of setup are you running? That will be a big factor in how it works also. Typically advancing the gears, specifically intake cam, will increase low end and reduce top end a little.
