hello va driven peeps, i thought this would be a great opportunity to introduce myself. i am new to the forum and i always happen to have a question :]

well anyways, i really want to do a ls1 swap, but i want to reach around 450 to 500 HP, NA, no nitrous, no superchargers, no turbos.........anyways, what are good ways to help me reach my goal of 500 HP with like, lets say..... $1000 to add on to the motor?

he didnt say to the wheels.. if ur looking for 500 at the crank a large cam would get you close...something like the g5x3

well i think them motors are easy to get to 500 hp. you can get a fast intake and throttle body. and then some good cams. i think hot rod magazine did it and it made like 512hp on the dyno. but you might want to look that up.
