happy memorial day guys... ecu help needed
ive got a 91 ef hatch and im plannin on drop a b16a2 in it this week... i have the complete front clip so i'll have all needed parts. i want to use the obd2 computer that came with the swap so can i just purchase a custom boomslang obd2 to obd0 harness or rywire to take care of the wiring issues?

alright new question.... i would much rather run a p28 (obd1) ecu rather than deal with all the bullshit that comes with obd2b. im told i cant do it because my car is obd0 but i think i can, i just dont know how....

you can get an obd0 to obd1 harness for your ef.... i run a p30 in my EF civic ls/vtec on crome.. you can also get the dist. jumper harness. makes life alot easier...

thats what i assumed from searching... i could get the obd0 to obd1 harness and run it that way, but im being told it will throw the check engine light. but as i understand, pw0, p28 or whatever... it will work as long as i convert the obd to match the ecu

P28 is a d16z6 ecu. Made for a single cam vtec. Therefore it will not run your b16 right. Look for a p30 if you want to run a obd1 ecu.
