I have a 1991 Toyota MR2 NA for sale. I'm going to say exactly what happened so you guys can decide for yourself what is going on.
I went off to college so my brother was driving the car. One day he went to start it he went to turn it on and all of a sudden it started leaking gas onto the floor. My brother went to turn it off and it kept pumping, so my dad removed the fuses to get it to stop. My guess is that its the fuel pump and it just needs to be replaced. Besides that one of the needles on the instrument pannel fell off so it will need a new one.
The car ran perfectly before this and I got over 32 miles per gallon. I got the car painted about a year ago and had just put new tires on her when this happened. The car is LOCATED in Centreville Virginia (NoVa). Interior is in great shape minus the shift boot is missing, but besides that perfect.

my fuel line on my 91 mr2 rusted an had holes in it that caused it to do the same thing

 

That would actually make a lot of sense... I wish I had the time to check it all out, but I'm working full time and traveling soon so am swamped.

 

What color was it originally? Who painted it?
