I was thinking some kind of blue like WRX Sti blue, or the blue off of the new S2000, or black pearl of some sort. The black will be a pain to keep clean though. Any suggestions? I'd like to keep it base/clear colors. The Tri-Coats are kind of pricey.

that blue is awsome, my favorite is burnt orange.

 

The blue would look good. I always liked the blue they used on the '03 636. Would have gotten that, but I already had red gear!!

 

Yeah i have red jacket and helmet also.....guess its time for new gear too!

But i think im going to go with the blue.

 

Is it expensive to get a bike painted?

 

Like a lot of things in life its not about WHAT you know, but WHO you know. I have heard of paint jobs ranging from normal colors ($1000-$2000) to custom jobs costing who knows how much. They are just as much as cars because of all of the attention to detail. Like a piece of trash in the hood of a car wouldn't be so bad, but it could stand out like a sore thumb in a gas tank.
