mazda will buy it back from you or give you free scheduled maintenance for the remander of the warranty.

Sucks to be Mazda at this point in time. Nice to see them being up front and dealing with the situation in a professional manner though.

Ford doesn't run mazda. They own a percentage of shares. The RX8 has nothing to do with Ford. Neither does the miata or the current Protege.

I can't believe they are doing a buyback. That could be like a really long test drive in sorts, and then go by something else.

ford has a large say in what mazda builds now. unless what i have read about the developement of the rx8 is all false
