Ported/Sealed sub box
hey man if u bought the subs new it comes with a book inside that book says what it recoomdns honestly i usually put kicker in ported boxes but u cant really mess ur bass up with a wrong size port and wrong size air space
dude I got he same kicker 10s in a bassworks box dunno if there name brand but its a ported and I swear to god they hit way harder than my JL w6s and there 12s.. check into a bassworks box google it or something I swear u will be happy
Ported boxes are the best compromise for sound quality and output efficiency. Sealed boxes usually have the best sound quality and frequency response, but also make the least efficient use of amp power. Ported boxes can sound almost as good, depending on box size and port tuning, and make pretty good use of amp power. They tend to be more narrow in frequency response because of the port tuning though. The type of port doesn't matter, slot ports don't sound different than anything else, but they're often convenient because they allow you to put a large or long port in a fairly compact space on/in the box.
Bandpass boxes have the most output for the amount of amp power, but also have the worst sound quality and the most narrow frequency response. They tend to be "one note wonders". I'd stay away from bandpass boxes unless you only listen to hip hop or something without much frequency range. "Bandpass" means they have one narrow frequency response range, and the response falls very sharply above and below that frequency range.

from your first post i would assume your not very knowledgeable about boxes my suggestion to you would to attemp to make a oversized sealed box since they are the easiest to put together and you can somewhat adjust the interior box volume to your taste
vented / bandpass boxes are a simple concept but a whole different ballgame when it comes to planning and construction and suggest you avoid until you become a little more familiar with everything
