Tacoma Help?

my dash lights on my 98 tacoma went out after i installed my radio, and its not any of the fuses. It is really impossible to see any of my gauges, any help please.

i did that to my old civic. don't hook up the wire in the back of the radio that says "dash lights" or something to that effect. if it's not that then i don't know.
