im gonna visit my parents in nova, around potomac and just wondering if someone can suggest a good place to eat good korean food or filipino food. I kinda know the area but need locals input where the best places are

 

Yechon in Annandale.

Annandale is krn town. Centreville is another booming krn town

 

There are tons of Korean places around here. As for Filipino restaurants, Maryland seems to have most of the decent ones.

 

Yechon is a must go. Its open 24/7 and the ppl there are quick to take care of their customers. Another thing is that thing bring out like 10 different appetizers and miso soup all for free before your meal. Bulgogi there is amazing and you can choose to have it cooked inside the kitchen or right at your table ( almost all the tables of stove tops in the middle) its a good place to eat and alot of tuners seem to eat there as well.

 

Yechon is nice but i still don't like it. Nova Korean food is overpriced. But it could just be me. The only time i eat Korean food is when i go back home. Cant beat moms cooking.

Ok now im gonna make some kimchee ramen. sigh.

 

+ 1 on Yechon and I like Cho's Garden too. IMO, it's so much more cost effective to make it. I love having a Grand Mart near me.

 

Korean food, all I know of is Yechon in Annandale and Woo Lae Oaks in Tysons.

Filipino food is Pampanguena in Rockville, MD is pretty good. There's another filipino restaurant in Alexandria but I never been to it, heard it was ok.

 

Always happy with Yechon. Good food and service.
