First the problem that just happened.. Altenator went bad and this did not happen before it went bad.. basically the car idles fine, but has trouble revving up to 2.5k rpm, and when it gets there it is like it is choking, .. it sputters, drops back down and just shudders a lot if i keep the gas pressed.. Any suggestions?
ditto on the maf. make sure you reconnected it after installing the alternator. nissan's will idle great w/ maf disconnected but won't rev past 2-2500rpm.
Or you might have just blown off an IC coupling. Seriously. It happened to me, I checked the MAF and was completely puzzled before I noticed "...hey, that pipe isn't connected."
two things, could be a ground wire, OR it could be that your fpump is dying, alot of pumps use the amount of gas in the tank to cool. If you're one of those people that's too cheap to fill up the tank, gl in the summer.
