Unless you are working for the air show people who work on base during the week tend to avoid the base for the weekend of the air show.



I however will be in attendence because my dad is coming down from NY o see it.

Yeah I can imagine the AFB being a bit crowded. I work at NASA and everyone here talks about just watching it from over this way. I work right across from the run way for the most part. Any word on if they are closing the NASA gate to the Langley side?

I'll roll up there and bring the GF. I got a wedding @ 4pm so this is a good time killer.

Last year the military were advised to come in the NASA gate during duty hours. The only one that I think was closed last year was the King Street gate......and that was open for vendors and other people affiliated with the show.

After being in the AF for 9yrs these things wear on you.

But my wife wants to go since it will be her first time being able to attend one, so I will most likely get stuck going.
