Default New Bike

Well, I had been having issues with my F4i and never really loved the styling of it. I was able to sell it and get onto this '07 600RR for what I thought was an excellent deal.

I started looking at '03 RRs only to realize Honda upgraded many things when they rolled out the '05-'06 600RR. So I started looking heavily for those but couldnt find any that were zero story bikes or that fit my idea of color schemes for decent pricing.

I stumbled upon this bike on Craigslist in Lynchburg for the same price as most '06s were selling for. He also threw in some Rocket Gloves, Matching Rocket Jacket, and matching Shoei RF1000 Helmet = $650 in gear alone. I already have my own gear, but was happy to take his too. :stickoutt

Pics of Helmet, Bike, and Jacket all together:

Mods Ordered:

1) Proton FlushMount Front Signals
2) CA Integrated TailLight
3) Tripage Fender Eliminator and License Plate Lights
4) Zero Gravity Double Bubble Smoked WindScreen
5) CF-Look Progrip Tank Guard
6) Pitbull SwingArm Spools
7) WoodCraft Frame Sliders

Thanks to everyone for the good words!

I had thought it was about the same speed-wise as my '01 F4i (Exhaust and PC3) based upon my time spent up to and around 7k rpms or so on both.

Today I merged onto 64 in 2nd and as I passed 12k rpms I actually said "Holy Shit" inside my helmet. It is WORLDS faster than the F4i and sounds so much meaner with only the stock exhaust. I'll admit the midrange is lacking a bit, but its a monster on the top end and I dont even have the balls to see 15k rpms yet.

Yep. I was going to go with the no-cut R&G or ShoGun sliders, but I've heard mixed things on those (and the ShoGuns were backordered) and never heard a bad word about the Woodcrafts. I should have them by the end of this week and then its time to dremel.
