When you say turn off the ignition when stopped, does that mean at a stop light or just like when your stopped at your destination. I usually coast in neutral unless im not lazy and ill downshift.

Turning off the car at a stop would probably use more gas because you have to turn it back on which involves the fuel pump priming. I could be wrong though. I usually just coast to a stop more now but in turn my brakes are wearing faster.
