My first bike got a few questions???
2003 Honda Cbr 600rr
1. Both the horn and the blinker indicators on cluster will not work......but the blinkers do work....they are integrated if that means anything.
2. Very loud rattle noise coming from around the cluster at acceleration and deceleration....basically when the bike is shaky. I had the forks checked and the guy said they were all tight and he could not locate the rattle either.
3.Bike when at idle sitting at lights runs an average temperature of 225 while my buddies sits at around 210 degrees. While riding it never gets under 200 but my buddies sits at around 210 and rides at around 190.
thats all the questions i have for now heres whats done to the bike
lowered 2 inches and the forks in front have been cranked down
integrated taillights
flushmounts
thats it

This man speaks the truth.
Is the rattle in the cluster or is it more right by your right knee? Is it RPM dependent (between 4k and 6k rpms)? Is yes to both of those questions, its your CCTL rattling.
The engine does sound like its running hot. FYI, The bike will shut off at 270F to protect itself. My '07 RR rarely gets above 220F even when in traffic or sitting still for long periods of time after getting ridden hard. While moving, its rarely above 200F and more like 185F
