Default FS: 97 Nissan XE King cab

* Name: Tom
* Location: Portsmouth, VA
* Means on contact: Email or this thread
* Trades: No trades, please
* Price: SOLD

* Description: Selling my Trucky, a 97 Nissan that I bought via the forum about a year and a half ago. Just got told by a dealer they'd give me $1500 in trade in value and I'm betting I could do better on the open market. If not, it'll stay in the driveway as an extra car.

I could tell when I bought it that it had been in storage for a while. With some new belts and tires it has been worry free. I get 23-25 mpg every tank. Nothing done in the way of engine or drivetrain mods. Previous owner installed an alarm and the window vent things, I didn't take either off. I did add the bed cover, which gave a slight mpg increase in addition to hiding whatever I had in the bed.

Please contact me if you're interested.

* Details:
o Drivetrain: 4 cyl (KA24E, I think) with 5 speed manual trans 2WD.
o Mileage: 50k and rising (it's my daily).
o Exterior Condition: 11 year old paint is about the best way I can describe it. Some scuffs, a couple of small rust spots and one spot on the A pillar is inexplicably peeling. Never seen that before. From 10 feet away it looks pretty damn good. I got hit by a rock right in the middle of the windshield by the rear view mirror which put a nice ding in the glass. Haven't fixed it because it never bothered me but I suppose I could.
o Interior Condition: Again, 11 year old truck. The headliner is starting to come down, but otherwise the interior is actually pretty good. No rips or tears in the seats, no cracks in the dash.
o Modifications: Soft tonneau cover as seen in the last pic.
o Service: Changed the oil and filters myself. Haven't needed to do anything else to it.

* Pictures: If you'd like more pics, just ask.

I could do motor pics once the sun comes up.

You are probably right on that motor code. I will correct the post.
