Default 2000 Honda Civic Si

Name: Martin Murphy
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Contact: martygras13@yahoo.com or cell: 757-763-9306

Excellent fun little GAS SAVER! Features a powerful B16 A2 engine (in excess of 160 hp). This car is a real attention grabber. Gets compliments on a daily basis. The Si is sought after by Honda enthusiasts, drive one and you'll have no questions as to why. This car is light, FAST, and is well known for its excellent handling capabilities.

EXTRAS:
-Carbon Fiber Hood -Faux Carbon Fiber Side Mirrors
-AEM Cold Air Long Ram Intake -Magna Flow Performance Exhaust (sounds great too)
-Momo Steering Wheel -Short Shift Kit with Ichiban Knob
-Sony Xplode CD/MP3 player (XM capable) -16" Enkei Racing Rims
-Coil Over Conversion Style Suspension. -Front and Rear Skunk2 Camber Adjustment Kits
-Blue Neon Light Bars on Driver and Passenger Interior -Blue LED's on Instrument Cluster

RECENTLY ADDED:
-Virginia State Inspection (good until 05-09) -4 Brand New Tires (05-08)
-4 Wheel Camber and Tow Alignment (05-08) -Power Steering Rack (05-08)

HISTORY:
I have had this car for two years. I love it to death and it really pains me to sell it. It is very fun and very reliable, it has never let me down even once. I bought it from an independent dealer called Motor Sports (on Oceana Blvd in Virginia Beach, VA) I am NOT the original owner. However, this car runs like new, and with proper care WILL continue to do so probably until the end of time. Anybody who knows anything about Honda's will tell you that 97,000 miles is nothing. The car is barely getting broken in.

CONDITION:
Overall VERY GOOD! See pics provided. See also Known Problems section below.

KNOWN PROBLEMS:
-Scrapes on front air spoiler from low speed curb contact in parking lots (left and right side)
-Minor blemishes in hood (small cracks, a scrape, and what appears to be a buffing mark underneath the clear coat)
-Faux carbon fiber on mirrors faded and peeling.
-Rear suspension squeeks on bumps (neoprene bushings are typically noisier than their stock counterparts)
-Tires are slightly bigger than anticipated at purchase therefore if you hit a really hard bump the rear tires rub slightly (rare)
-Front brake rotors slightly warped (have new front rotors and pads, included in purchase, just no time to install them)
-Random small scratches (typical of an eight year old car)

WARRANTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:
This car comes with an existing NO-HASSLE bumper to bumper warranty from PREFFERED WARRANTIES INC. Everything is covered except typical wear items. Very little out of pocket expense on claims (some shops may charge a rack fee, independent from the warranty company, or charge for fluids on a hydraulic component replacement).
I have only used the warranty once. I paid $40.00 (rack fee and fluids) to have the steering rack replaced. The invoice price on my ticket was $792.00. That was a substantial savings for me. Furthermore, my rental car reimbursment check was at my house five days after I faxed the rental invoice to Preffered.

REASON FOR SALE:
In an effort to begin a rewarding career, I must move to the Washington D.C. metro area. The cost of living in our nations capital is so ungodly expensive that I can't reasonably expect to live comfortably and maintain the payments on my Civic. As much as it pains me to say it "The Civic Must Go". This car is my baby and I really hate to do this but "Make Me An Offer I Can't Refuse" ;(

Asking $11,000 obo.
