Default Where Can I Get My Wheels Painted
I'm looking to get Volk's painted maybe semi-gloss black with a blue lip. Anyone know of any shops around the area that can do it??

Never get them painted. powder coat them dude. And I wouldn't broadcast that you have volks.

OMG.

Try taking them to a local body shop. Depending on what type of Volks you have (ie. forged or multi piece) you should not powercoat them due to high heat.

my friend's works are powdercoated and they look stunning, and why shouldnt you get them powdercoated?

I "heard" that the powerdercoating process can alter the integrity of forged wheels due to high heat. Read it on a Z or G forum. Not sure of it's vaildity. But I'd research before I have it done. Volks are painted from the factory anyways.

yep, ive painted a couple sets of volks and if prepped properly then its no problem and they look fresh, powdercoat is a different process. paint them
imo.
