I am in serious need of a workout partner. I'm tired of lifting by myself. Anyone want to start lifting together? I go at different times but I go at least 5 days a week. I can go whatever time would work best for both of us. Let me know!

If you come down to the 757 area I lift 5 or 6 days a week at Gold's in Oyster Point.

why dont you just join the rec center?
$55/ year instead of $35 a month and its real nice
when i loved in vb i never had a problem using it
my gold's is way more crowded than great neck rec ever was

I used to work out at the rec, but got tired of it so switched to Golds... just now switching to inlet south becuase it's 5 min from my house vs. 20 to golds. Makes it easier to workout before work.

Yeah I worked out at the rec when I first moved here. It was tiny and the equipment was old/rusty and there wasn't enough for everyone. And the dumbells only went up to like 80lbs. So it just wasn't really my type of gym I guess. Cheap as heck though. I get a membership every year just for the pool
