So, i have a cracked 17" rim i have been trying to get repaired, trying to find a a decent price on rim repair so i dont have to just buy a whole new rim. I looked for about a week, called aout 5 places all with near same quote of 120+ dollers. Note: The crack was tiny considering. So The other day my friend tells me about a guy he met in VA Beach who does rim repair, and said he does good work. So i gave the guy a call, set up a time and met him. Not only did he have me in and out within an hour, he had fixed 2 bends, a crack, and wrapped it in 205/40 wynstar tires for a GRAND TOTAL of around 110.00. The work was done great, great guy, and he warranties all his work. Check him out, he does anything you can imagine to tires.

Virginia beach, the guy does some of his work out his house (80% of it) and some out of his employment place.

Wheel doctor used to be on VA Beach BLVD near the ocean front. He refinished my 19" rims on my G35 when I had it.. Did a good job but took 2 weeks, but that was 2 years ago... Still was a good good..

I took a cracked Volk to them to fix. It cracked the same day of the 1st repair, same day of the 2nd repair AND same day of the 3rd repair.
After 2 tires and a lot of stranded on the highway time they told me to try getting it fixed elsewhere as they could not fix it.

They didn't offer me a refund despite the fact that their work is guaranteed.
They were very nasty and unprofessional.

I ended up having to take them to court.
It was a nasty ordeal and in the end I spent about the same amount of money that I would have spent to get a new wheel.

While others may have had good experiences with them mine was horrible and I would not recommend them to anyone

Quick question was that $110 for just one rim ? I got quoted anywhere from $60 to $120 per rim to remove some scratches.. I do not want to spend $240+ on stock rims that arnt worth that much to begin with

 

I'm guessing you're talking about Wheel Doctors? Probably should be a given, but another company's name was thrown out there.
