Default Tein Type Flex

I'm looking to build another Honda here soon. I hate cars with shit ass suspensions. I had tein basic full coilovers on my last setup that I had, it rode pretty good but I want better. Who has the Tein type flex around here and was it worth the money?

I was doing some price hunting and seems as if it is going to cost me 2300 for the setup. If nobody really has any positive feelings towards it, I guess I will look into another setup. The car is mostly going to be for track as well as a weekend car. No autocrossing (500whp setup in a fwd honda...haha) Opinions please

In my opinion it is worth the money as long as you add the EFDC system.

I really like the way Flex ride, super comfortable, suitable for light track duty. But EFDC is pretty useless imo.

That being said if it's price you're concerned about why not look at coilovers that ride the same as flex but cost a lot less? (cough Fortune Auto cough)

I've got a set of Tein Super Streets on my Civic. I'm pretty happy with them. 16 way dampening is all I need.

I ran Flex's on my 240, while not the same animal I was very satisfied with the ride/handling. Especially in comparison to other setups I had ridden in.

Tein Flex on my G35. Love them. Turned the EDFC off a year ago, kept throwing errors.

That's a lot of ways to moisten something. Why do you want wet shocks?

it sounds like you want to build a serious track car. i don't think you should be looking for "comfortable" suspension. you need to find out what keeps you stuck to the ground when your going around turns.

i got nrg coilovers and kyb gr2's. i have almost no body roll and i stick pretty good. add some sway bars and it might be a pretty good setup.

p.s. my ride however is not "comfortable" but it works on the track.
