will come reformatted with the latest drivers and windows updates, ps they take a long time to do all the way through once reformatted so I'm doing a favor I guess haha just want gone for my new xps system thats going to end up costing more then the car I drive 0_o
Thin-and-light: The HP Pavilion dv2620us is a thin-and-light laptop, under six pounds and built to travel. Mobile dual-core technology enables use of multiple demanding applications, such as photo editing, DVD burning and playing a game, at the same time.
Dual core/64-bit processing: The 1.9GHz Turion 64 X2 TL-58 has two processing engines that work in tandem, providing much more power than standard 1.9GHz processors. This processor is also capable of processing 64 bits of information at once, twice as much as standard 32-bit processors. AMD PowerNow! technology enhances mobile performance and extends battery life.
This laptop features 2GB of DDR2 system memory— enough for all but the most demanding users, gamers and multimedia professionals. DDR2 is slightly faster than DDR, the previous standard in system memory.
Data travels along the frontside bus. The faster data travels, the faster everything works. This 1600MHz frontside bus is exceptionally fast, ideal for the most demanding gamers.
Processors search for the same data over and over. L2 caches keep this data neat, organized, and nearby so it can be retrieved more quickly. This 1MB cache gives the processor a little boost.
Hard drive: This hard drive features a 250GB capacity—perfect for robust collections of music, movies and multimedia. This drive’s data disks spin at 5400rpm. The faster they spin, the faster the data is read and written.
Go wireless: Built-in 802.11g wireless LAN gives you a fast connection to a wide range of networks and peripherals. 802.11g is backwards-compatible with 802.11b, so you can connect using the two most popular wireless standards.
DVD SuperMulti drive: Use this drive to burn DVDs and CDs to share your files, music mixes or home movies. You can even burn DVD-RAM discs—specially-formatted discs that let you drag and drop, or write and rewrite your files up to 100,000 times.
LightScribe disc-labeling: Create custom laser-etched disc labels right in the drive with LightScribe and preinstalled Roxio ExpressLabeler. Just burn data on the disc, flip it over and burn the cover image using any scanned image and/or text. Free label designs and color background discs in five vivid shades are now available.
