Wider fenders on EK.
Has anybody modified their fenders to fit a wider tire? I've been thinking about modifying my current fenders by cutting/pulling out and hacking up another fender and adding on.. I'm going to go with a 15x8 wheel, probably a 215 or 225/5015 series tire. I had tried looking for a fender that looks stock but is actually slightly wider, so the wheel/tire won't rub on a lowered car. The reason in me asking is, I want fit quite a bit of tire over stock to gain more traction. But, when I had 205/50r15 with a 15x7.5 wheel, whenever I would turn it would rub.

you can fit 15x8 on there with out doing all that.

i had 235 50 15's bfg radials on my car, still spun them , but they were up there, rolled the fronts a little. thats it. couldnt even tell i rolled them at all.....
shit my boy has them on his car now, and his shit tucks them with no fender rolling, hardly rubs, and its a stock EG hatch as far as fenders go....
camber wear killed them but.... thats expected.
