my honda accord 90
Well you might be able to find a decent turbo kit for 2k, maybe. If you want it to run properly and reliable it's gonna cost a tad bit more than that.
Also, stock engine, and how many miles? If it's a 1990 and has a lot of miles on it, I don't know how well boost would hold.

so you are going to take your only car. which i might add is a 90 accord and boost it. That sounds like a smart idea. Also are you going to be the one installing all of your stuff? If not that right there will run you up enough and are you going to tune it? Which would be highly recommended if you plan on having any life to your motor. Thats a few more hundred. So if you're paying for and install and tune you will probably have 1000 left over for the kit if you're lucky? Other words dont waste your money on that car.
Well, it's a pretty old car, if it has a lot of miles on it I wouldn't even think about boosting it let alone for a DD. Like 07civicSI said, turbo kit alone is atleast 2k, you should get fuel upgrades, an upgraded ECU, a tune, and installation is pretty expensive if you can't do it yourself. So all in the end you're looking at about 4-5k I'd say for it to be running right + reliable.
Word to the wise.... never i mean NEVER fuck around with your DD when it's your only means of transportation... as soon as you take it off the road for a weekend project, shit breaks when you're trying to upgrade parts and you're stuck a whole week without a car to drive because it just so happened to be the one part you can't find in-stock anywhere or at all, and had to order it. Been there done that... x's a million.
