Theres a guy whose selling his 90 lude si, but the transmission is blown.

instead of buying a new transmission, I was thinking of doing a B20B swap into the car (considering its a 18 year old car & has about 156k miles on it w00t)

anyways, what would be the requirements to install a B20B motor into this 90 si lude? And no i don't wanna hear the same old crap about "Just put an H22 in there, it'll be easier". I don't want an H22, I'm not worried about the funding, cause all I've got is time.

Any input anyone?

One.. The H22 is like... $1500+ isn't it? + axles, halfshaft, ECU, etc., etc.?

B20B is only like $600... besides i'd like to turbo charge the engine as well later on, so I'd like to eliminate the use of VTEC.

Does anyone know of anywhere where I can purchase a prelude mount that will fit a B series motor? (besides a b20a3 or a b20a5 or the b21).

Like I said - i'm not looking to drop an H22 into this. I'm not looking for something thats going to get me ticket after ticket after ticket. What i'm looking for is an NA engine to drop into this vehicle, thats going to be peppy enough to drive around town.

Please - if no one has any input on dropping a b series engine into a lude, please don't post back saying "Just put an H22 in it". I know I could drop an H22 in it, I'd just prefer not too.

I take it you dont understand what you just said.... You want to do a b20 swap into your Lude, and boost it later? Yet you dont want something thats gonna get you a ticket, after ticket, after ticket. If you boost a b20 Lude your gonna get a ticket, cuz most idiots like yourself cant resist a street race when one goes down. And im sure you have a search engine to find out where to get mounts for your motor, LOOK IT UP, maybe you should start with Hasport for STARTERS!!!!!

HASPORT DOESN'T MAKE MOUNTS FOR A 90-91 PRELUDE TO FIT A B SERIES ENGINE.

Coming from the retard who wants to put a swap a b-series into his shitbox. How bout this for an option...1) Run that POS off a cliff. You can do it in reverse since your tranny is fucked up. 2) Buy a better car.

The money you'd spend to make your shitbox a running shitbox would be worth it just to be a newer, better, more reliable car that holds more value. A b20 into a prelude? SRSLY? why?
