Hey guys, my wife really wants a kitten so if you think you will have one ready for adoption in about 3-4 weeks(after we move) shot me a PM. Rest assured it will go to a good caring home.

Go to the SPCA and take one so it doesn't get killed.

 

SPCA is a no kill zone. Animal control is a kill zone.

Go rescue one from a Kill Shelter. You'll feel better.

 

Actually no....the SPCA does have to put some down. My wife volunteers there.

But aside from that...go to the SPCA or the Animal Shelter and pick one up.

We've gotten 2 cats from the Norfolk SPCA, both about a year old and we're fostering another one who is about 9.

All three are great and we haven't had any issues at all.

 

They always have a pretty good selection of kittens at Petsmart on Sundays.

 

I'm trying to get a kitten for my girl also. We only want a Maine Coon so we are having a hard time finding a breeder. If anyone knows someone let me know. Seems to be a lost cause as of lately.

 

Yeah... save one from the SPCA.

 

For the cost you can't beat VBSPCA. The amount they charge you is less than you will pay just for your 1st vet visit and spay/neuter. Its like free cat with payed ball removal.

I got my dog there and couldn't be happier.
