1998 Civic Hatch
#1
1998 Civic Hatch
Name: Clay
Location: Blue Ridge, VA (Borders Roanoke)
Contact: PM/ 540-598-3572
Mileage: 75k on motor, 90k on chassis, cluster says 134 or something
Price: New price 2300, does NOT include radio.
No trades
Last tank of gas I managed to get 28 mpg from nothing but stop and go through neighborhoods.
Also comes with spare d16 tranny (dx i think)
Motor:
D16z6 swap ( with si trans)
Prelude intake modded to fit
4-2-1 headers
Some kinda stealth muffler (not loud)
New plugs, wires, dist cover & assembly
Interior:
Gsr front and rear seats (could use little TLC no rips that i can remember)
ITR style shift knob
Exterior:
Unknown brand carbon fiber hood ( gel coat has cracks as pictured)
Fat five wheels
Unknown lowering springs ( came on car) - car looks super low bc of the loose ground i guess
The bad:
slight high rpm grind in 2nd (only notice it when going up driveway since its kinda steep)
Input bearing shaft rattle that most civics have (35 dollar fix, search honda-tech)
couple dings major ones pictured
small chip from shopping cart on drivers tail
nice sized dent not pictured in drivers door, door works fine
Reason for selling:
Purchased new car and don't have the need for the civic
note the rough spot and the bb dent
