You can use different ones, but have to get it align honed.

more than the head is worth. Trust me when i say this, don't buy the head. There is a well known ass on this forum that is notorious for selling heads with no/wrong cam caps.

For the record, I've worked on 4 cars where the owner has been sold a head with mis-matched caps and none of them worked

Wow...appreciate it...will not get head now...just save up to get a complete one...or bare...cuz im gonna get it hot tanked and build it. Thanks for all the input....
