HELP: coolant problem
I have a b18b1 ls swap in a 94 civic hatch, regular bolt ons (header and exhaust, blah blah STOCK for the most part) and i have to keep pouring water in the radiator every 2 days or so...it just eats right through it.
What is going on? is it my headgasket? or something else. Thermostat, maybe? Need this solved asap

Re: HELP: coolant problem
Have you noticed any oil in your coolant? That is one sign of a blown head gasket.

Re: HELP: coolant problem
If your headgasket isn't bad, check for leaks at/by:
the radiator/coolant hoses
the base of the the radiator or the plug itself
the water pump

Do you see any obvious leaks, or smoke? If not, check your oil to see if its almost a milky brown color.

Re: HELP: coolant problem
well first thing. water evaporates.
try adding coolant instead of water.
i use 50/50 mix, some people do other combinations.
but water gets hot and boils/evaporates.
