Default tips to get a racing radiator to fit

i am trying to put a csf racing half radiator in my civic but it seems too tall. can i cut a small piece of the sub frame so i can slide it closer to the air cond. coil?

Is it an OEM replacement radiator or a universal fit? I guess the better question is what year car is it and what application was that radiator meant for?

there is always this option: https://www.vadriven.com/forums/showthread.php?t=247445. he did run into overheating problems though. it was in a crx with a h22 boosted.
