1995 Land Rover Discovery
182000
Title Clear in hand
Price 650obo also open to all trades...does not even have to be a car.

For sale i have a 1995 land Rover Discovery that i bought a few weeks ago. I bought it as a project and have just run out of time to work on it due to my wife having to have a unexpected major surgery next week. It is a project but it is drivable. I have done a lot of basic maint. to it so far in to prep it for getting inspected and running good. Their is still more to do though. Right now it is missing but still drivable. These trucks are built heavy duty and can go through almost whatever..it just needs someone with more time and the truck could be alot of fun and a great truck. The truck really has no rust and the body is in good shape. Paint is pretty good but faded. Interior is ok. Just needs some cleaning up and tighting up, the drivers seat leather has come apart at one of the seams. And headliner is shot as most LR's are. Has 3.9 V8 and is full time 4WD. Has on demand selectable lockers front and rear. They do work. Tranny shifts good. Motor is clean. Tow package, recevier is built into frame on these truck. Rated at 7700lbs..Brakes stop well and have good pad life left to pass inspection.

Things Fixed or replaced.
-Fuel Filter
-Spark Plugs
-Thermostat
-Tires with about 85% tread and balanced..little bigger 265/75/16 32" trimmed fenders a bit they don't rub.
-Some random cracked hoses
-Overflow cap.
-New catback exhaust and muffler
-New serpentine belt
-Fresh Oil change and filter
-K&N Drop in filter
-Fixed all lights, all working and turn signals
-Prob other things i forgot..

Known Problems
-One of cats insides are shot and rattle, prob clogged.
-A fitting on one of the tranny coolant lines leaks. Needs new fitting
-Manifold to DP flanges leak..will provide new gaskets. On their way UPS
-After longer drives cooling system sometimes builds up pressure. It does not overheat usually just builds alot of pressure. i am told this is common with the disco's and usually the older ones have this happen to to the raidator needing to be pulled and "cored" by a pro aka..brushed" and cleaned out. That usually pretty cheap. For now just have overflow cap off.
-The miss that i was speaking of..just runs kind of rough mostly idle but will rev up fine and drive. I think it needs a new rotor and cap..possibly wires. Also have not had time to check the timing. Could also not be helped if the cats are broke/clogged.
-Rear window cleaner sprayer missing.
-Rear power windows sometimes work sometimes don't..prob switches.
-Some times rear sunroof sticks..tracks need lube. Will work fine..front works well.
-Could prob use ball joints...

Like say i bought this as a project. These are fun trucks to play with off road and fun to drive in general and very capable. I just don't have time due to wifes surgery coming next week. With some work and wrenching you could have a good buy..NADA is Low: 2575 Clean: 3700 And High:4625. I need it gone like yesterday! Will get pictures in a second...
