I have been having a problem with my car giving me code 22 and some times 21. I tested all the wire and the vtec pressure switch everything checks out good when i check to see if the plug going to the pressure switch was putting out the right amount of voltage i noticed that it was onlky putting out 5 volts. From what i saw in the hanes manual it says that there should be 1 volts i even checked it straght off the wire on the ecu can some one help me please?

 

Are you checking that voltage with the switch plugged or unplugged? The voltage reading won't necessarily be the same if everything isn't plugged in the way it would normally operate.

 

it was the compter went out on me had burn marks where the vtec is controled on the circuit card

 

Double check the wiring, or the next ECU you use may fail too.
