Does anyone else notice how Sam's clubs in the area are spamming craigslist? Frankly, I am getting turned off from them with their spam. Everytime I go on craigslist to search for a cell phone for friends or family, all I come across are Sam club offers. Right now, they have 64 posts up about cell phones. It is hard to weed through all the spam to find legitimate people selling cell phones. I am tired of reporting them as spam, because they just keep coming back with a ton more everyday. I sent a e-mail to Sam's club, but I havent gotten a reply as yet. Does anyone else notice this?

Who could I talk to in order to get them to stop doing this? Obviously, they are trying to up their sales, but they are actually just spamming craigslist, and I love craigslist.

It doesn't look like it's that hard to weed them out they list it's sam's club in the location .... I would just ignore it I doubt there is anything you can do.

 

just flag all their ads, you could also call the number they list and waste their time acting like you want to buy a cell phone and ask a million questions

 

I have flagged their ads, but they just keep coming back. It would be wasting my time to call and try to waste their time. They are a store, so the corporate office must be able to do something. I was searching for a e-mail address or something from the corporate level which oversees this local level to e-mail a complaint to them, but I haven't found anything as yet.

 

spamming is becoming a problem for all of craigslist.

 

if it makes you that upset, put -"sam's club" at the end of a search

its not sams club that is selling the phones its an agent( basically the middle man of diff carriers) in sams clubs that makes these post they are commission driven so they are trying to make some sales. but hey what type of phone are you looking for if its alltel i might be able to help out .
