Welcome, I'm more of an Import guy, but prefer cool domestic people over dumb import people.

Im going up there for a reason, not staying for a really long time, just to get some things done. Maybe I won't hate it so bad, so quick.

6.0 Iron block or Aluminum? Looks nice w-burg isn't that bad, you just have to deal with really really really old tourists during the summer.

Its an iron block out of my buddies old race car, was a 408 with some spray. Hope to get some low comp. pistons and such, and get a D1 on there down the road.

For installation on parts, where is a good place to go? Greenville had a lot of "good ole' boys" that had lifts in their garages and we could do install stuff after work, but now I don't know if thats possible.

Whats the verdict on VA speed? Ive heard alot about them off of Tech.

My dad use to be one of those tourists He decided to move up there since visiting a few times. W-burg is a nice looking town, seems to be pretty calm.

It is calm, its just pretty far from the beach so it makes it nearly a road trip to get down there. Are you planning on paying someone to work on your car, or are you just trying to get a place with a lift?
