I work for the Crowne Plaza hotel in downtown. I was waiting at the Jefferson Hotel in the Crowne Plaza shuttle van while waiting for some guests from our hotel. While i'm sitting there in my shuttle van, a police car with its lights on rolls into the Jefferson driveway and I think to myself "What the hell could possibly be going on here?" Following this police car is a motorcade of black cars. When the cars come to a stop in the driveway, some type of security agent gets out of the front seat of the first car in the motorcade and opens the back door to the car. Out steps TONY BLAIR and his wife. WTF? And I also made eye contact with Tony as he got out of the car.

I found out later that he gave a talk at the landmark theater. Did anyone go to this?
