Default Question about 99 + Mustangs

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone on here has owned the 1999 and up model Mustang, and if they could give me some info about it. I am looking into buying one and was just wondering how they were (reliable, quick, slow, shitty, etc.). I would just like to hear some feedback from people who have had them or been around them alot. Thanks for any help.

Are you talking V6 or GT? The V6 base model gets decent gas mileage if you don't dog it, but will drink if you let it. Dont get a V8 if you can't afford gas. As for reliability, both the 3.8 and 4.6 are modern, up to date engines, and dont require a whole lot of maintenance or repairs if taken care of.

Stock, not even a GT is that "fast", but the V6 will still move. I don't know what your goals are specifically, I'm sure someone more "up to par" with the SN95 can fill in any blanks you still have.

I'll hopefully assume you aren't referring to the ITR in your profile. You racing moms on the way to work from light to light?

Im so glad people like TonyTouch take time out of their worthless lives to flame someone elses thread...thanks fuck head...and im sure anyone talking about having a slut measure their dick on va drag is definitely not packing much, so take your worthless comments and limp dick and shove both of them up your ass

And thanks 83Stang, i wasnt sure about which engine to get. Im not really planning on making this thing a drag car. I just wanted something pretty nice to drive as a daily.

The GT's are reliable and usually low 14 sec cars stock. Minor bolt ons make them solid mid 13 sec cars. For a few grand you can get a blower and make about 400-450hp on the stock motor. They are a dime a dozen, and can be had on the cheap. They are also a blank canvas that you can make into anything with the huge aftermarket following that they have.
