Default Anyone know of a good archery shop in the 757?

Home for thianksgiving and decided to pull all my old guns and bow etc out of storage and bring them back to Va Beach w/ me and start shooting them again. My bow hasn't been touched since I wa was 16, so going on 11 years now.

Lots of little screws and anything that was raw metal is rusted badly now... it's wierd considering my father's bows are stored in the same manner and are fine. So... I need someone to re-string the bow and do a general tuneup. Any archery shops in the area worth a heck?

Brian

Wilcox is okay, but overpriced. Bass Pro does a decent job too, but take a long time.

If you don't mind the wait and want the best service/job done, I'll PM you the best place in Suffolk. I don't just want to put the name out there because I don't want a bunch of idiots from here going up there.

I've never heard of Wilcox being overpriced. Everyone always talks their service up, too.

Then they don't know how to shop or have more money than sense. Granted I do very little archery anymore, but their guns and accessories, ammo, fishing bait and fishing supplies, and pretty much everything else they carry is considerably higher than any of the other places I shop for the same things.

It's just a convenient spot for people on that side of the water that don't have as many options as people in other areas.

Bass pro has designated archery specialists. They arent jsut regular sales associates, they know what they are talking about.

No problem.

Wal-Mart is your friend for ammo, can't beat their prices, especially on shotgun ammo. Dick's is good for shotgun ammo too.
